In the app: Delete all my data
- Open BharatScanner and tap Settings at the top right.
- Scroll to the end and tap Delete all my data.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
This removes every document, folder, signature, stamp and setting from the app on this phone, stops Google Drive backups and revokes the app's access to your Drive, turns usage counts and crash reports off, and signs out and deletes any old BharatScanner 4.x account. It can't be undone.
Uninstalling the app also removes everything stored inside it.
Your Google Drive backup
Backups are in your own Google Drive, so they stay there until you delete them. Open Google Drive, find the folder BharatScanner 5 (and BharatScanner-CloudSync if you used version 4), and delete it. Then empty Drive's bin.
The copy in Documents
If you turned on “A copy in Documents”, the app saved PDFs in the phone's Documents/BharatScanner folder. Delete all my data removes them. If you've already uninstalled the app, delete that folder with the phone's Files app.
Old 4.x accounts
BharatScanner 4.x had sign-in with Google. Opening version 5 and using Delete all my data deletes that account. If you can't do that (for example, you no longer have the app), email us from the Google account you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my BharatScanner account”. We delete the account and everything linked to it within 30 days and reply when it's done.
Usage data and ads
- Usage counts and crash reports are sent only if you agreed. They don't include your documents, names or numbers. Turn them off in Settings › Privacy › Help improve the app.
- Ads use your phone's advertising ID. To reset or delete it, open Android Settings › Privacy (or Google) › Ads.
